Tsimane's Pluma Lodge offers a classic Bolivian jungle fishing experience which includes a perfect blend of small crystal clear streams and lower river sections. Pluma Lodge explores some of the most productive dorado fisheries including the entire Pluma, the lower Secure and the "crown jewel" the Itirizama River. Only 8 anglers per week will fish a great variety of waters from deep pools to rugged terraced pocket water. Anglers can also have the chance to do out camps of the headwaters if the conditions suit. The lodge is a beautifully built raised structure sustainably constructed from the wood of the surrounding jungle. Meals are delicious, expertly prepared and served. The upper sections require long walks and are recommended for physically fit anglers, while the lower sections are fished out of dugout canoes with casting areas and outboard motors. There, anglers can encounter schools of dorados in great feeding frenzies much as giant trevally attack baitfish in the salt.
