The uppermost headwaters program of the Tsimane family is the Sécure Lodge. With a 6 angler occupancy, the lodge is situated at the very headwaters of the Sécure River and includes luxury tents and a well fashioned living/dining room building. Anglers fish three distinct sections: the upper and middle sections of the Sécure, and the headwaters streams of the Maniquicito and Ashahana. Wedged between two mountain ranges this remote area offers huge biodiversity. Aside from the numerous jungle floura and fauna, the fish species include pacú, moturo, surubí, yatorana and golden dorado of up to 30 pounds, many of which are resident fish. Access to the varied sections of this system is done via dugout canoes that are poled or motored with outboards. Out camps are also possible on the upper tributaries for the more adventerous anglers.
