The uppermost headwaters program of the Tsimane family is the Secure Lodge. With a 6 angler occupancy, the lodge is situated at the very headwaters of the Secure River and includes luxury tents and a well fashioned living/dining room building. Anglers fish three distinct sections: the upper and middle sections of the Secure, and the headwaters streams of the Maniquicito and Ashahana. Wedged between two mountain ranges this area is a most important region with a huge biodiversity which includes pacus, moturos, surubis, yatoranas and large dorados of up to 30 pounds, many of which are resident fish. Access to the varying sections are done via dugout canoe and poles or outboard motors. Out camps are also possible on the upper tributaries for the hearty anglers.
