Agua Boa Amazon Lodge is located approximately 2,000 miles from where the mighty Amazon River feeds the Atlantic Ocean. At a mere 120ft above sea level, the lodge sits on the high banks overlooking clear water, white sand beaches of the Agua Boa River. This tributary of the Amazon offers excellent sight fishing for all species of Peacock Bass, the Butterfly (4-5 pounds), the Paca or Spotted (up to 20 pounds), and the Temensis (up to 25 pounds) as well as Arowana, Payara (Vampire fish) and Pirarucu (Arapaima).
Accessible only by plane, this lodge provides accommodations unrivaled in the Amazon. Relax in the swimming pool overlooking the near eighty miles of fishable Agua Boa River before retiring to your private, air-conditioned bungalow with two queen beds, private bathroom, and porch overlooking the river. Regulated for conservation, Agua Boa is the only catch and release single barbless hook fishery in the Amazon. Truly a destination not to be missed by anglers of all abilities.
