The Patagonia Baker Lodge is situated in one of the best fishing locations in Southern Chile. It's nestled above the Baker River, which is the largest river in Chile and originates from the biggest lake in Patagonia, Lago General Carrara. The Baker River remains clear throughout the year but has a slight glacial influence, giving it a stunning blue color that you have to see in person to truly appreciate. It's considered one of the most beautiful trout rivers globally, and the surrounding landscape is equally impressive, with towering mountains covered in glaciers in every direction.

While the Baker River is the main attraction of the lodge, there are also other nearby fishing spots to explore during a week-long stay, such as the outlet of Lago Carrara, Lago Bertran, Rio Maiten, and the incredible Cochrane River. Dry flies and streamers are popular for fishing, and you have a good chance of catching very large trout when fishing in the Baker River, Cochrane River, and the lake outlets.

The lodge offers a rustic yet elegant setting right by the river, with large windows providing picturesque views of the Baker River and the massive glaciers. The food at the lodge is exceptional and includes a mix of international and local Chilean dishes.
